Here is a designed flyer for the Kidbrooke Community Sewing & Alteration Club: **BFEG PRESENTS** Kidbrooke Community Sewing & Alteration Club Join Us to Learn: - Sewing & Alteration skills - Body measurement techniques - Needle skills - How to sew, clean, & oil a sewing machine Special Project: **Ankara Cocoon Summer Jacket** Participants will create their own jacket to showcase in the fashion show at the Kidbrooke Carnival on 6th July 2024. --- Club Details: - **Start Date:** 3rd June 2024 - **End Date:** 3rd July 2024 - **Time:** 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM - **Location:** Kidbrooke Community Hub Sponsored By: **Berkeley Homes Capital (East Thames)** Delivered By: **Luhoc Creativehand** --- Kidbrooke Community Sewing Club Come, learn, create, and be a part of the vibrant Kidbrooke community For participants of the Kidbrooke Community Sewing Club, it is recommended to bring the following basic tools: 1. **Fabric Scissors**: Sharp scissors specifically for cutting fabric. 2. **Pins and Pincushion**: For holding fabric pieces together while sewing. 3. **Measuring Tape**: Essential for accurate measurements. 4. **Sewing Needles**: For hand sewing tasks. 5. **Seam Ripper**: Useful for removing stitches. 6. **Tailor's Chalk or Fabric Markers**: For marking fabric. 7. **Thread**: Basic colors (white, black, and a color matching your project). 8. **Fabric**: For your specific project. 9. **Thimble**: To protect your fingers during hand sewing. The below will be provided by LUHOC Fashion (Tutor) - **Sewing Machine**: If the club does not provide one. - **Rotary Cutter and Cutting Mat**: For easier fabric cutting. - **Iron and Ironing Board**: For pressing seams. - **Pattern Paper**: If you plan to create or modify patterns. Having these tools will help ensure a productive and enjoyable experience at the sewing club.
